PAINTER RESIDENCE

This residence is located on the North Ridge Country Club Golf Course in Raleigh, NC.  The residence is designed with a commercial kitchen for large events, a family kitchen, two complete apartments for the couple’s grown children and their families while visiting, an indoor exercise & health spa, tanning room, wine cellar, game room, two elevators, and a dumbwaiter system.  The site features a swimming pool & jacuzzi, extensive outdoor covered patios, open patios, verandas, and landscaping.  Centrepoint Architecture made extensive use of custom-cut Texas creamstone, alabaster plaster, custom wood cabinetry, slate roofing, and Hope’s windows in this design.  The structural system includes lightweight, autoclave concrete block which provides an extremely energy-efficient and sustainable building envelope.
